BNEW had the participation of King Felipe VI
Its goal was to boost the global economic recovery focused on five key economic sectors: logistics, real estate, digital industry, e-commerce and economic zones.

Pere Navarro, Special State Delegate within the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona confirmed that there will be a new edition of BNEW next year and remarked that this was «a tremendously useful event during these difficult times, boosting the economic recovery globally and creating business opportunities all over the world».
The event also had the participation of King Felipe VI and Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, who presided the awards for Best Innovation.
