In April, the new Hotel Fernão de Magalhães (temporary name) should open its doors, a 4 star unit with 96 rooms and suites which will be hosted in a rehabilitated building on the avenue with the same name. It will be equiped with a restaurant, bar, rooftop, parking and managed by a yet to be announced hotel group.
Oriental Porto Hotel is another 4 star hotel BB Sociedade Imobiliária is working on at Rua Padre António Vieira, another rehabilitation project that started in January this year. It will have an industrial and a residencial building, which «will make way for a single hotel which will have different parts always surrounded by gardens»
Oriental Porto Hotel will have 83 rooms, suite, restaurant, bar and parking. This unit should open its doors during next year’s first semester.
Also, in 2020, the Memória Talasso Hotel Apartamentos, in Matosinhos will open its doors, a hotel by the beach, built from scratch, which will host 94 studio and two-bedroom apartments with view to the sea, restaurant, bars, pool, spa and thalassotherapy and parking.
