AXA buys 135 houses in the centre of Madrid to rent

AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets bought 135 houses in the heart of Madrid from Acciona Inmobiliária. AXA’s goal is not to sell the assets, but to place them on the Spanish capital’s rental market. In this way, a built to rent strategy is consolidated, according to Eje Prime.

The ten-floor building, where the houses are located, should be ready to rent by the end of 2020. Its future tenants will be able to enjoy the several spaces AXA plans to build, such as a pool, a gym, terrace and parking lots.
