Dedicated to the theme, “Is Lisbon the next tech city investment hot-spot?”, the meeting is scheduled for the 16th March 2017 at 11.15h, and will have the participation of Jorge Bota, managing partner of the Portuguese consultancy B.Prime, and Enrique Gracia, director of the Spanish SOCIMI Merlin Properties, as the main speakers.
MIPIM is one of the major international events for real estate professionals, bringing together hundreds of representatives of many of the biggest investment companies from the four corners of the globe, “so the inclusion of a session on the city of Lisbon as a destination for investment on the official conference programme is a unique opportunity to raise awareness of the capital city’s potential in the real estate market whilst attracting capital inflow, before a highly qualified audience”, notes António Gil Machado, director of Vida Imobiliária and Iberian.Property.
The session will therefore enhance the developmental strength of the Portuguese capital at the conference, where the city will also be represented at a collective stand under the brand Lisbon / Portugal, with the dynamism of Invest Lisboa in partnership with the Sociedade Baía do Tejo, and, as is to be expected, Iberian.Property will also be represented. The Lisbon South Bay project, the lawyers’ societies MLGTS & Associates and PLMJ, and the consultancies B.Prime and Castelhana have also confirmed their presence in the 84m² space available.
At a time when it would seem that cities, rather than countries, are the main focus for real estate investment, the stand has as its objective to promote and strengthen awareness of the Metropolitan area of Lisbon in the eyes of foreign investors, whilst also acting as a support for holding events and meetings, beyond simply the exhibition component.
