OD Hotels belongs to OD Group, a group of holding companies oriented towards tourism born in the year 2000.

The group first acquired Hotel OD Ocean Drive in Marina Botafoch and later Hotel Can Jaume – a rural Boutique villa in the outskirts of Ibiza town.
In 2014, OD Port Portals was inaugurated in Palma de Majorca, followed by OD Talamanca in the Talamanca beach area in the summer 2016.

In August 2017, OD Hotels adventured for the first time to the Spanish mainland, opening its new hotel OD Barcelona, a 5 star boutique hotel in the heart of the luxurious Eixample area. Furthermore, the group has recently announced the future opening of OD Madrid, OD Cavaliere (St Tropez) and OD Miami.

In 2012, OD Group gets into real estate business with the acquisition of Meridiana Inmobiliaria, which becomes OD Real Estate. Today, the group consists of 10 departments, going from professional equipment and quality installations to agri-food business and construction.
